A year today has past,and O how fast it has gone,it seems like it was just yesterday since Gordon Carnie has past away,
And still we remember him as a great ambassador for the sport of eskrima in NZ.
As much as the chemo was knocking him back ,Gordon still had a positive outlook,
“We have but one life and I intend to enjoy mine”
This was Gordon’s view while going through the chemo, To me that shows great fighter spirit. Gordon’s words of encouragement & guidance & his fighting spirit will never be forgotten by me or my students.
R.I.P Gordon
