On Modern Arnis and Kombatan:
I know that they're both Modern Arnis but is there a difference (aside from organizational) like - is there a method/system that is not part of the other? is Kombatan the empty-hand of Modern Arnis?
Salamat Po! Thanks! |

I am not sure of this, but I thought Kombatan was GM Ernesto Presas style? but could be worng.
I personally have not had any expeariance of it, but have been on the receiving end of the late GM Remy's empty hand system Very painfull indeed.
An education to say the least.
What about anyone else, any expeariance of Kombatan?
Best regards

None I'm afraid. But I do train with a Modern Arnis group now. And I can confirm that Kombatan is Ernesto Presas' system.
