Unlike some other systems of MA which use pressure points extensively DiamondBack Systems prefers to apply pressure point technology in a way which lends to a homogenuity of strategy as well as a holistic nature within the whole art.
This means that the concepts, principles and techniques we use should be able to be taken 'Out of Context' and still found to be applicable.
Look at some of the following and POST answers, questions or musings.
Concepts - Yin / Yang , Quadrant Theory
Principles - Stay within an Element. , Use destructive cycle.
Techniques / Points - Ht1, CV17 |

Translated Text Supplied for Riki
Any single component needs to mesh seemlessly with other strategies.
Also it needs to add more than just itself to the whole art, there need to be synergies gained.
This covers up to 'Look at some ...'
The rest is technical references to pressure point study (sort of like reverse accu-pressure). |

The other night my Purple Belt noticed the following.
If you imagine a person facing you (thumbs in) the order of the meridians
from outside to inside follow the same order as the Destructive Cycle i.e.
Fire -> Metal -> Wood -> Earth -> Water (& then of course CV , Mother of all Yin). |

Do you have any literature to recommend for futher study about this topic? My current teacher doesn't teach these...least yet, which just might mean that I'm not that far yet, well anyway, at the moment I'm still figuring out what the style is. (in DBE I was convinced after 5 minutes) |

Thanks. Last week I ordered a book about Dim Mak, written by Montaigue...just waiting for it to arrive. So I'm on the way. |
