I would like to take this oppurtunity (now the "dust" has settled) to thank
Pat & Lucy O'Malley for arranging to send equipment (carriage paid by Eskrimador Supplies) to sell at our Balintawak Seminars with Bobby Taboada.
This raised £60 in profit donated. (Eskrimador Supplies)
Along with the £60 Balintawak UK has donated a further £140 to CANCER RESEARCH UK giving a total of £200
I think this is a great cause and I know from family experience cancer can affects us all at some point, directly or indirectly.

PS It was nice to finally meet Pat and Lucy in person at the British Stickfighting championships. Jon Broster aswell, been a few years since we last met. |

Hey Richard..
Just want to say awesome effot,speaking from a cancer victims point of view.We as a family could not of got by with out all the help/money assistance the cancer groups in NZ gave us..
So i know the money you guys have raised for the cancer research will be greatly apreciated.
Keep up the good work guys.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the up-date, it is good to hear we made a small effort to Cancer Research, every little helps and it was good for us to finally meet you in person too, and a special thanks for brining GM Taboada along, shame we did not have more time to sit and chat. But the participants loved the fact that they actualy got to see a GM in the flesh.
Anyway, if you have any other events that we can help on just let us know and I am sure we will meet up more often.
