Hi,

There has not been much going on here recently, so...

What is your favourite martial arts logo?

The Pekiti Tirsia people have got a particularly cool one at:
http://www.pekiti-tirsia.com/

(I like the one with the skull, 2 knives & 2flags) Cool

I am always quite partial to the RA logos (new and old) as well.

Seen any other cool ones?

Jon

Well as you would expect I love the new RA T-shirts, love that logo better than the old one.

But my favorite t-shirt is the one I got from GM Vince Palumbo back in 1992 after I fought him at the WEKAF Worlds.

It is the official WEKAF Australian team t-shirt with a yellow and green WEKAF fighter on the front. I still wear it on occasions now although it has seen some better days, but it is the most comfortable t-shirt I have for training in and of course it has a special meaning for me.

I also have another favorite which is the Modern Arnis t-shirt given to me by GM Remy Presas back in 1996 (Ithink it was that year, getting old and memory not so good Wink ) I wear that one loads. There is another one I treasure that I got from GM Ondo Caburnay in 1994, it is a Lapunti Arnis De Abanico one but with a difference. The Black Eagle that is on the Lapunti logo is not coloured in so it is quite rare in that the Eagle is not black, but it is the Lapunti Logo. I think the printer made a booboo when GM Ondo had them made ofr us. There is also a Doce Pares one I got in 2005 at GM Dionisio's seminar from 2005 which has a logo of 2 un-armoured stick-fighters flying through the air, holding sticks and firing a kick. I think the logo looks pretty cool so I wear that one quite a lot too Very Happy

As a matter of fact I have two large bin liners full of t-shirts from all the events I have been too and I will not get rid of any of them, I love them all Very Happy So many to choose from, I have one from Larry Hartsell somewhere, one from Leon Jay, A WEKAF USA one from Steve Wolk, a few PNP Arnis team shirts, The Doce Pares t-shirt I designed for GM Dionisio Canete's visit to my club back in 1999. Oh! I could go on all day, they all have a special place and I wear them all at some point through-out the year.

The of course there is the RA 10th anniversary ones, (I still have a handfull of them left somewhere in storage) the red and the blue ones. I wear them quite a lot and so do a few of the guys that where at the camp that year. That was the last time we used the old RA Logo too.

Well as you can guess I have lots of favorites Laughing
