Hi Guys,
Yesterday I spent 8 hours driving from Nottingham to Harlow and back!
The M11 had been closed due to an accident and at one point it took us over 2hours to drive about 8 miles on A roads, only to be told that we were not getting back on to the motorway. I checked at around 10 last night and the highways agency was still listing the M11 as closed between Stansted and the M11.
I hope those of you that did make it down had a good session.
How did it go?
Who turned up to fight?
Who fought whom?
Did you all have fun?
Is anyone up for another bash later in the year?
How about October at the new UMA in Leicester?
I had a couple of very disappointed newbies in the car with me, and they are dieing to get fighting.

Hi all,
The day's fights went really well and congrates to you all, it was cold that day so I know those strikes with the stick had to hurt even more than usual.
Hi Jon, Sorry you got caught up in the M11 shut down. We did hang on as long as we could for you. But hey you can make up for it next time by having two fights eh! Check out the link 'D' posted he has a few of the fights up now and lots more to come too.
October sounds good to me mate will chat to you about the venue.
Well done on Scott Marshall and Shelley Coombe earning their wings, 3 meetings, now they are fully fledged Eagles.
Thanks everyone for a great day and well done to all those who fought.

Hi guys,
Just a short one to say well done to all that turned up and fought at the Kent meeting and sorry for those who missed it due to traffic .
A special thanks to Andy for the fight ( it was a pleasure mate ) and hopefully we will do it again in the near future.
Well done to Shelley for gaining her wings against Louis ( it was fun to watch) and Joe Mills for supporting Rapid Arnis Scotland / Filipino Self Defence and travelling down with me ( thanks guys).
Cheers,
Scotty |

Thanks to everyone for making us feel welcome on saturday. Apologies for lateness and thanks to the two gents for letting me 'play.' Maybe the lateness was deliberate! Wait for everyone to get tired! Unfortunately I'm not that clever/devious.
Well done to everyone that fought.
Cheers, Paul. |
