I would like to be the first to congratulate Peter Lewis on becomming a fully fledge member of Bakbakan last weekend.
The first guy in the UK to have the honour of being welcomed in to a unique FMA organisation.
Mind you from what I heard his belly is still hurting
Well done mate, told you, good things come to those who work hard.
All hail Peter for he is Bakbakan UK
Best regards
Pat |

Pat
Many thanks for your support and encouragement. Yes, my stomach is tender and well bruised.
It is a great honour to represent Bakbakan International in the UK.

Well done, and good luck with the guts after the "belting"...
Where did you do the rites? In the UK, WHQ or in the PI?
I'm just wondering, as it's something I'm working towards myself, one day... |

Hi Mike
Many thanks for your good wishes, especially as far as the gut is concerned.
The Rites of Passage were conducted at the WHQ in New Jersey.
Good luck to you my brother. I know that you will succeed.

It's a case of "be careful what you wish for...".
A few of us in NZ are possibly up for full membership in October.
Not too sure I'm, looking forward to it... |

Hi Mike
I did the "Belly-to-whack" system! :-)
Seriously, yes prepare yourself, but as much mentally as physically. In 20 to 30 seconds it is over and I'm sure that you will have some bruises to remind you of the memorable and honourable occasion. A "touvhing" moment is when the whole group salutes the new full-fledged members.
Take good care and good luck

Yes, Pat. I was on a special diet for that one. The "natural padding" saved my bacon...eggs, sausages, chips, black pudding etc etc etc.
My store of "Chi" (or is that cheese?) is now developing.
Best regards

Well, we'll be doing a few days of training and possibly grading as well.
So I'm trying to get rid of any "abdominal enhancement" I have right now |

Hi Mike
The "Tip" that I had is that some "abdominal enhancement" can help to cushion the blows. Certainly, the Six-pack brigade seemed to suffer more.
Good luck with the training and grading. I am sure that the effort will be well worth it.
Just making arrangements for Master rey to return to the UK during November.
Best regards
