The stick/knife work I've seen before didn't sit that well me.

This seems the right way to go about it.

(Damien didn't swear at me ... am I doing something wrong?)

Lucy! Lucy is the reason I started training in Rapid Arnis!

I did about 18 months of Wing Chun before i plunged into Rapid Arnis. I'd also done a bit of something else stick related, but was bored sh*tless by the instructor. Also he wanted us to use plastic sticks and they hurt my sensitive ears, so I stopped going.

Then my delightful husband bought a now extinct video called 'Rapid Arnis' by Pat O'Malley & John Harvey. In the video somewhere is a short clip of some madwoman attacking a stack of tires.

I don't want to be accused of 'brown nosing' (there seems to be a bit of it going about! :) ) but one of the main reasons I started training in Rapid Arnis is because of the footage of Lucy on the video.

That and you get to hit people with sticks alot and pretend it was an accident! I like hittin' folk! Evil or Very Mad

Shelley
