I know it's a double post, but I feel this is relevant to this section, and I am the admin so I can get away with it
I thought you would like to see this rare interview with Grand Master Nick Elizar of the World Nickelstick Eskrima Club (Balintawak style).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLsjZ-dIIlk
And for future referance as there will be more interviews to come, log on to: http://www.youtube.com/eskrimadorsupplies
Hope you like the first of many.
Best regards

My bestfriend (who's based in Cebu) just found out that her friend's dad is GM Nick Elizar!! And her nextdoor neighbor! He's offered to teacher her. Ain't that cool? Can't wait to spar with my best bud! She's gonna love it. She's just like me... sadistic b!tches! lol... We love each other too much, now it's time to hate each other a bit. CariƱo brutal. hehehehe... j/k (god I miss home... *sniff*)

I would love to live next door to GM Nick Elizar.
So what stops you from going back to the PI, if you miss it so much? I would rather be where the heart is and be happy.
Love Lucy |

No 'kaching!'... I'm going back eventually... probably in 10 years' time (when hubby retires.) On the lookout for land in Cebu. Will have our dreamhouse built there... by the coast/beach. hehe. Need money first to pay for it. There's no place like home. Then again, need to grab some 'kaching' first. hehe

Hi, everybody,
My name is fabien and i'm from France.
I like to thank Lucy and Pat for the interview of my teacher and friend, GMaster Nick Elizar; he was very proud and happy that you show some interest of his work in the Balintawak.
Richard ans Alan make a very good job to develop and promote the Balintawak to UK.
Hope we can do disame quality to promote the Balintawak style of GMaster Nick Elizar in France, and maybe more...
I realy hope that we can practice soon together.

Hi Fabien,
Gald you could join us on the forum, Well it was the least we could do for GM Nick, we have known his for a long time now and he was after all a guest of honour at our wedding in Cebu in 2000, plays a mean guitar
Lucy is in the process of editing his first ever training dvd that should be available in the next couple of months, we will keep you posted.
I am sure you will do a grand job in promoting GM Nick's Balintawak style in France and other places and if you need anything at any time just drop me a line and I will see what I can do.
Welcome once again to the Forum.
Your Brother in FMA (YBIFMA)
