Celebrating it's 12th Anniversary, April 5th 2008 will see the biggest ever meeting of the Black Eagle Society.
This is the UK's Original NHB FMA event with just head gear, light gloves and groin box that has over the last 12 years attracted many top UK FMA practitioners.
With each bout timed to a maximum of 3 minutes the meets are open to all serious non egotistcal FMAers who wish to test their skills up against like minded afficianados of the Filipino martial arts.
This meeting will see both novice and expearianced Black Eagle Society members coming together to enjoy that days sparring.
This event is only open to those FMAers who wish to participate in the days sparring matches, no casual spectators allowed.
All players may also video both their own and other bouts on the day.
The event will be held in Dartford, Kent. Venue to be announced in the new year to all those who wish to participate.
If you would like to participate please PM me for further details.

Hi,
(I assume that the date is actually the weekend of the 5th of April)
I'm in, and Kwoklyn is up for it too.
Why not have the weekend in London and take the opportunity to see the Terracotta Army at the British Museum (exhibition ends on the 6th!)
Not forgetting that it is my birthday on the 4th, so all in all it should be a good weekend!

Hi Pat,
With ref to the date for the black eagle in Dartford,
The only thing with changing the date is that I myself and a couple of my students up here in Scotland want to attend and have already booked time off work for that date.
If the date is changed then we might not be able to attend and fight as it depends on the next date if we can get off work or not. and for a couple of us this would be our third and earn us our wings so to speak.

Just cos I probably won't be there, there is a good chance you'll have a couple of half mad paddies droping over, we aint letting you of the hook completely!
Paul is keen, and a couple of my lads are up for it. |
