Damien and some of the RA London crew will be there too.
Big Andy Marren is also there for a day, so quite a few RA guys, pop along to our stand, easy to make it as a point of referance, you cant miss us because beleive it or not we are right opposite the Bruce Lee Foundation Museum and right next to the Combat Magazine stand.

Hi Guys,
It was good to see you all at the weekend, it is always good to catch up with everyone.
I enjoyed the day, saw a few good Thai boxing bouts, went to a good training session with Robert Chu (Alan Orr's wing chun teacher) and made a few useful contacts.
Something occurred to me earlier.
The octagon was in use on and off throughout the day on Sunday, but it was most definitely empty for most of the day.
Maybe next year we could stage some Black Eagle invitational demonstration bouts in the octagon!!
I, for one, would be well up for it and it would be an excellent venue to showcase what we do. We might even be able to rope in some other people - like kendo or something - for a few challenges.
Based on
a - the continuous frantic buying at all the FMA stalls over the weekend
b - the general interest in MMA
I thinks we would get a lot of interest, and maybe even some celebrity referees - Royce Gracie and Dan Henderson were both on hand, very close to the octagon all afternoon.
I can't wait until next year!!

I must say, I thought saturday was rather boring.
BUT; sunday was much better!
Especially when this guy named Jon Broster( ) stopped by the Escrimador supplies booth and did a bit of the Serrada system with me!
I really enjoyed working him and Pat when we suddenly had the space next to us free for the day!
Thanks for the tips Jon and thank you Pat for that help on the number 5
I am well up for doing a Black Eagle next year if they would let us do it!!
Lets push some buttons and see what happens! |

I had a great time, especialy joking around with Tim Tacket Two old buggers just messing around.
Well for me the Saturday was the busiest, I did not have time to even breath. Sunday was great too and it was great to get that free space next to us to teach in thanks to Combat Magazine not turning up
The Rapid Response Workshops where a blast and I think we opened a few eyes, and we had one or two guys try it on thinking they could counter it only to find they ended up on their ****
The breifly tried it on with me and soon realised that I am the Cheif Instructor for a reason Then stupidly enough they thought they would take on the girl Lucy. On feeling the pain of Lucy they thought they would pick on on of the participants, or what they thought was just a participant, Eh Edges The left with their tail between their legs and now know it works hahahaha.
The Black Eagle thing sounds good, I will talk to the organisers in the next month as we have already booked our place for next year. Get those leafletting hands ready 'D'
I would say that this was the best Seni Event ever with Saturday being the busiest I have ever known.
Thanks top all you guys who helped out on the stand (our biggest ever) espeically Keith, Shelley, 'D', Tom and Samantha for working so hard over the two days. And to Pink Panda and Nick the Greek for the flyers and banners, top class job boys. And to Keith, Jon and 'D' for teaching the passers by on the newly aquired peice of training area on the Sunday.
Well done everyone from Eskrimador Supplies (that's Eskrimador with a 'K' Damien ) and Rapid Arnis International, now we are back we are already in the process of working out the finer details for next years show.

Hi everyone
This was my first Seni that I have attended. What an experience to talk to so many different people from so many different martial arts backgrounds. It was so nice to see so many from the FMA world there such as Shaun Porter, Anoton St James, Jon Broster to name a few. Thanks to Shaun for showing me a bit of Lightening Scientific Arnis and also a big thanks to Pat for pairing up with me and showing me some more cool stuff with stick and dagger, for letting me teach others the Rapid Arnis system at Seni and for all the help given in promoting my own club here. It was a really fun time and I haven't stopped talking about it since I have come back.
p.s. I think that the rapid response workshop went down a storm both days. |

| Typical. I obviously turned up at a slack time - I went on Sunday and I thought it a bit dull. If I go next time I'll try to make it to some of the seminars or wait until my little boy is old enough to come with me because just going around on your own can be a bit boring |

Then you should have come over to us and introduced yourself properly, we would have looked after you and made you feel welcome and not so lonely
I too found Sunday a bit quieter than Saturday, but this gave me time to breath, but Saturday I got to meet up with many of my old London RA guys and loads of FMA guys and instructors I knew from way back.
Saturday rocked. But Sunday was cool too in a different way, especially with the full contact Tai Chi wannabe who kept asking my advice about Tai Chi and how to run it as a business???????? He would not listen when I told him 1. I dont do Tai Chi and 2. Look for a Tai Chi instructor and talk to them because he is waisting his time talking to me about it |
